Early in the morning, your guide will pick you up from your hotel before dawn and transfer you to Angkor Wat to witness one of the world’s most beautiful sunrises. Watch as the temple’s iconic silhouette reflects in the lotus ponds while the sky changes color.

After sunrise, explore the magnificent Angkor Wat Temple, built during the reign of King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century. Admire its intricate bas-reliefs, impressive galleries, and remarkable Khmer architecture.

Continue to Angkor Thom through the impressive South Gate, lined with giant stone figures depicting gods and demons. Explore the ancient royal city and visit:

• Bayon Temple, famous for its 54 towers and over 200 smiling stone faces
• Baphuon Temple, once known as the “Golden Mountain”
• Phimeanakas and the Royal Palace Area Terrace of the Elephants
• Terrace of the Leper King

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (at your own expense).

In the afternoon, visit the peaceful Ta Nei Temple, a hidden gem surrounded by jungle and far fewer tourists than the major temples.

Finish your day at the spectacular Ta Prohm Temple, where massive tree roots intertwine with ancient stone structures. Made famous by the movie Tomb Raider, Ta Prohm is one of the most photogenic temples in Angkor.

Sunset Option

For travelers who prefer a later start, hotel pickup can be arranged in the late morning. The itinerary follows the same route and concludes with a beautiful sunset experience within the Angkor Archaeological Park.
